William Saichek has worked in the computer industry since 1976 and has been a professor teaching networking, communications, operations and security classes for the past 17 years, most recently at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa California.  He has also taught network and communications for ChapmanUniversity and Long BeachCityCollege.  In 2006, he was Interim Dean of Business and Computing at OrangeCoastCollege.  He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of California, Irvine and holds several networking certifications. In 1990, he created one of the first “Buying and Building Your Own PC” seminars.  He also “walks the walk” by maintaining a consulting agency in which he designs, installs and maintains networks and communications environments for small to medium sized organizations in Southern California.
