CTC Business Advisory Council
The Convergence Technology Center’s Business Advisory Council meets quarterly with the three partner colleges to provide guidance to the center in determining employers’ needs in the workplace. Members of the council include companies which are end-to-end convergence technology vendors, companies which are best of breed vendors in the convergence marketplace, companies which integrate in the convergence arena through IT segments, and software companies.
These partners provide expertise in the direction and evolution of the Convergence Lab, maintenance and training in the lab, sponsoring curriculum development, providing speakers on relevant convergence technology topics and helping develop case studies. The Business Advisory Council has validated convergence skills and provided feedback on degree and certificate plans, along with shaping an internship process.
